On October 24th in Las Cruces, NM, the New Mexico Nuclear Alliance, alongside Pacific Fusion Corporation and Kairos Power, presented before the Science, Technology & Telecommunications Committee to discuss the state’s emerging nuclear and advanced energy ecosystem.

The discussion with legislators focused on small modular and microreactors, advanced fuel development, workforce training, new uranium mining technologies, spent fuel storage and waste management, and uranium cleanup efforts, all underscoring the importance of community engagement and transparency in New Mexico’s energy future.
